The Director of the Legal Aid Service met with the Public Defender of Georgia

The Director of the Legal Aid Service (LAS), Otar Chakhunashvili, met with the Public Defender of Georgia, Levan Ioseliani.
The meeting focused on the significance of coordinated cooperation among human rights protection agencies. They discussed the current challenges in protecting beneficiaries' rights and highlighted the importannce of the LAS advisory mandate.

The sides deliberated on the necessity of close, efficient communication between the institutions and looked into  opportunities for deepening future cooperation. Both parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen inter-agency collaboration and combine efforts to promote the effective protection of human rights.

The meeting was also attended by Lika Kobaladze, First Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Service; Gela Gelashvili, Deputy Director of the Legal Aid Service; and Elene Ghudushauri, Deputy Public Defender.
