A meeting was held at the Ukrainian House in Batumi

On April 2, 2026, representatives of the Legal Aid Service visited the Ukrainian House in Batumi.

The Head of the Information, Analytics, and International Relations Department, Maia Nozadze, introduced Ukrainian citizens residing in Georgia to the services of the Legal Aid Service and the legal mechanisms for accessing them.

Tea Kaulashvili, a lawyer from the Specialized Case Bureau, provided participants with information on the conditions for long-term stay of foreign citizens in Georgia, recent legislative changes, including employment registration, and issues related to legal residence.

Following the meeting, Ukrainian citizens benefited from individual legal consultations. The meeting was held with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Germany, within the framework of the project “Improving the Rule of Law and Access to Justice for All.”
