The training about " The access to environmental justice" was provided in Tbilisi

Members of the Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee Professor Thomas  and international legal expert Csaba Kiss met with members of the Legal Aid Providers Network on October 31, with the support  of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). 

Aarhus Convention, case law from the European Court of Human Rights, access to environmental justice, and international procedures for appealing environmental issues were among the topics of   the discussion. 

The First Deputy Director of the LAS, Nino Meladze, and the Deputy Director, Mikheil Khurtsidze, introduced the mandate of the Legal Aid Service to the audience. Following the presentation, network members gave their opinions.

It should be noted that the Network of Legal Aid Providers is a union of organizations that provides   free legal aid operating in Georgia. It  includes relevant agencies and budgetary organizations, as well as representatives of the non-governmental sector and university clinics.
