Legal Aid Service and the Special Investigation Service signed the memorandum

The Legal Aid Service and the Special Investigation Service signed the memorandum of cooperation on October 5.

The memorandum, aimed at developing effective cooperation, was signed by the Director of the Legal Aid Service, David Simonia, and the Head of the Special Investigation Service, Koka Katsitadze.

The major objectives of collaboration are to enhance access to legal aid for victims of torture and other ill-treatment, and to adeptly protect their rights. As part of the memorandum, joint events will be carried out, and informative panel discussions, conferences and trainings will be scheduled.
