On July 16, the 30th Consulting Center of the Legal Aid Service was opened in Khashuri (at M. Kostava St. # 11). Free legal aid has become even more accessible to the residents of Khashuri. Anyone can get legal consultation here.
The Consulting Center will have one lawyer-consultant who will give legal advice on various issues including the rights of the vulnerable, banking, land and real estate registration, inheritance, labor disputes, violence against women and domestic violence, supporter appointments, and other urgent issues.
After the opening of the Center, the director of the Legal Aid Service, Razhden Kuprashvili, introduced the services of the Legal Aid Service to the locals, as well as the criteria for receiving free legal aid. He noted that it is important for the population to be fully provided with territorial access to free legal aid. If before the residents of Khashuri had to come to the Gori Legal Aid Bureau for a free legal consultation,from now on they can visit Khashuri office. He also introduced Manana Gelashvili, a consultant at the Khashuri Consulting Center to the audience. It was decided that meetings with the local population in the future will be held on current legal issues. The goal of these meetings is to raise the legal awareness of the population.
