Roman Keidia, Head of the Legal Aid Service (LAS) Zugdidi Bureau, participated in information meetings organized by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, held in the villages of Pakhulani in Tsalenjikha Municipality and Khurcha in Zugdidi Municipality.
As part of the meetings, the displaced population and the residents of the villages adjacent to the dividing line were provided with information regarding the LAS services, the issued of women abuse and domestic violence, as well as legal mechanisms for protection against violence.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Human Rights Protection Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the LEPL Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Social Service Agency, and the Zugdidi Crisis Center of the LEPL State Care and Assistance Agency for Victims of Trafficking.
At the end of the meeting, relevant information brochures were distributed to the locals.
