On October 1, 2 and 3, 2025, a three-day training was held in Tbilisi for lawyers of the Legal Aid Service (LAS) on the topic of “International Litigation in the Field of Human Rights Protection”
The training was opened by the Director of the Legal Aid Service, David Simonia, and the Rule of Law Project Manager of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Levan Asatiani.
During the training, human rights experts, Levan Meskhoradze and Tamar Dekanosidze, discussed with the participants the mechanisms of international litigation, practical examples and human rights protection standards.
The training event was held with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the German Governmentas part of the project “Improving the Rule of Law and Increasing Access to Justice for All.”
