A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Legal Aid Service and the USAID Rule of Law Program was signed on June 12 of this year. The parties stipulated in the agreement that the Legal Aid Service Batumi Bureau will create a paid internship program for paralegal students.
In addition, a variety of activities will be collaboratively planned as part of the "Paralegal" project to increase public understanding and access to justice. It should be noted that the "Paralegal" initiative has been functioning in the Adjara region for a year.
