On May 10, the LAS Kutaisi Bureau lawyers held a meeting with schoolchildren of Kutaisi public school N41. The topic of the meeting was domestic violence.
The schoolchildren were informed about reasons of domestic violence, theories of it, as well as tools for fighting against domestic violence, issuance of protective and restraining orders, their operation area and conditions.
The youth also received information about importance of gender equality and tolerance in modern society.
The meeting was conducted in an interactive manner and the schoolchildren were given the opportunity to express their opinions too.
