On March 24, the LAS Rustavi bureau lawyers held information meeting in Sartichala.
In the framework of the visit, the public lawyer talked with the local population about rights of victims of domestic violence, as well as legal liability established for perpetrators. The focus was made on free advocacy service of Legal Aid Service, which is accessible for victims of domestic violence (in case they meet the insolvency criteria).
One of the priorities of the Service is to raise legal awareness of the population regarding domestic violence issues.
