The Legal Aid Service (LAS) staff and invited members of the Public Advocates' Registry received training on "Jury Selection" in Tbilisi on October 28, 2025. United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Coordinator Levan Asatiani opened the event. Public attorneys Gela Siordia, Head of the Bureau of Particularly Important Cases of West Georgia, and Sulkhan Komakhidze, Head of the Bureau of Particularly Important Cases of East Georgia, led the training. Both attorneys have substantial expertise in jury trials.
In addition to sharing their firsthand knowledge with their peers, the trainers went over the theoretical underpinnings of jury selection in jury trials.
The German government and the United Nations Development Program provided support for the event.
