The strategy and action plan of the Service Reforms and Training Center are being discussed in Batumi

On June 24-26, in Batumi, with the support of USAID / PROLoG, a meeting of the Legal Aid Council members and the Service Administration was held, where the current reforms were discussed.

The participants of the meeting  were introduced  to the strategy and the action plan of the Legal Aid Service Training Center. Director of the Service Razhden Kuprashvili presented a report on the projects and reforms to the Board members. 

Irma Okropiridze, the expert,  presented in detail the strategy and the action plan of the Training Center – the goals, objectives and the ways of their implementation.  Giorgi Chkheidze, the Manager of the donor organization Project  “Support to the Rule of Law in Georgia”(USAID / PROLoG), said that the successful implementation of the Legal Aid Service projects should directly affect the provision of high quality free legal aid to beneficiaries. And the donor organization, within the framework of  its best abilities, will always support these projects. 

Both issues were discussed and opinions were shared, that  will contribute to the further institutional development of the Legal Aid Service.
