Legal aid consulting center was opened in Dedoplistskaro

On June 8,  16:00, at 44 Kostava St. in Dedoplistskaro  there was opened the Legal Aid Service Counseling Center, which was the 26th in a row.

From now on, free legal aid will be more accessible to the local population. The Counseling Center will provide legal advice to any person on any legal issue.

The center employs one lawyer-consultant who will give legal advice on various issues, including: Vulnerable rights, banking, land and real estate registration, inheritance, labor disputes, violence against women and domestic violence, supporter appointments, and other topical issues.

After the official opening ceremony of the office, an open-air meeting observing social distance was held with the representatives of the Dedoplistskaro Municipality Administration, Sakrebulo representatives and village authorized appointees.

At the meeting, Razhden Kuprashvili, Director of the Legal Aid Service, introduced the locals the services available and the criteria for receiving free legal aid. There was  also presented the important legal issues for the region. 
Today, there are 13 legal aid bureaus and 25 counseling centers across the country. Until now, the population of Dedoplistskaro could get free legal advice at the Sighnaghi Legal Aid Bureau. Since June 8, a legal consultant will work in Dedflistskaro as well.
