Tamar Jichonaia, head of the Zugdidi Crisis Center for State Care and Assistance to Victims and Victims of Trafficking, and attorney Marina Nachkebia visited the Zugdidi Bureau of the Legal Aid Service on March 25, 2026.
The Crisis Center is a service institution designed for the protection, assistance and rehabilitation of victims of violence and/or trafficking, victims, as well as alleged victims of trafficking and their dependents, which operates on the basis of the LEPL - Agency for State Care and Assistance to Victims and Victims of Trafficking, Zugdidi.
The meeting discussed issues of violence against women, domestic violence, legal mechanisms for protection from violence, activities and services of the Crisis Center and the Legal Aid Service.
Representatives of the agencies agreed on mutual cooperation.
